He received his surgical training at Georgetown University, Washington, DC and the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, institutions renowned for their rich surgical tradition and cutting edge innovation. He has authored several peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, has been an invited speaker at many national surgical meetings, and has received numerous awards and distinctions for his dedication to high quality patient care. Dr. Zaré is committed to providing patients in San Jose and the San Francisco Bay area the latest treatments in minimally invasive gall bladder surgery.
